Tarumanegara Kingdom

The second oldest Hindu kingdom in Indonesia, located in West Java. The kingdom was named Tarumanegara. In Chinese news, Tarumanegara called To-lomo. The establishment of the Kingdom along with suspected Tarumanegara Kutai, namely in the 5th century AD Evidence that reinforces that opinion is found seven inscriptions, namely Citarum Inscription (Ciaruteun), Inscription Kebon Coffee, Cashew Inscription, Inscription Pasir Awi (Sand Estuary), and the inscription Cianten Estuary (in Bogor); inscription monument (in Jakarta); Inscription Munjul Lebak (in South Jakarta) . Seventh inscription was written using the letters Pallawa using Sanskrit.

In the 5th century AD has stood Kingdom Tarumanegara. Tarumanegara kingdom ruled by King Purnawarman. King Purnawarman is a capable king and trying to improve the welfare of the people. Therefore, the people prosper in an atmosphere of safe and secure. The influence of Hindu religion and the news from China proves that the Kingdom of Tarumanegara been in contact with abroad.
